Ms.Ebert took Bayleigh Lacey, Haylee Miles, Tristen Duncan, and Sadie McGowin to State Vet Science at Kansas State University. The contest included: identification of breeds, parasites, and tools; math and conversion practicum, a written test, animal handling and restraint practicum, clinical procedure practicum, and a current events practicum which was over Antibiotic use in Livestock. Following, the girls spent the day out and about in Manhattan, visiting Manhattan Hill, Rocky Ford, and Carnahan Creek. They ended the day with Call Hall ice cream before returning home.
